Welcome to my website. It is just a simple site to share some of my hobbies and interests. I enjoy photography, backpacking, hiking, wakeboarding, snow skiing and lots of other outdoor activities. Luckily, I live in Harrison, Arkansas, where all these activities (except snow skiing) are nearby. I also enjoy working with computers doing things such as photo editing, video editing, making maps with GIS systems and creating web pages. My "real" job is as a Resource Conservationist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, which also allows me to use some of these hobbies while at work! These pages concentrate on my favorites: photography and backpacking!

I have been interested in photography for a long time. Most of my images are now digital. Check out some of my other pages for more information on the photo equipment or photo galleries of some of my favorite photos. If you would like to see images and notes from some of my recent trips go to my blog.

About 2 or 3 years ago, I also got interested in backpacking. There's just something about putting everything you need on your back and setting out on an adventure. I think it's something about being self sufficient. It also allows me to use some of my other hobbies, such as map making, GPS and photography in the great outdoors. I have also included a page where you may download various maps in Adobe Acrobat format, including a walking trail map of Lake Harrison park. And last but not least is my resources page. It is just a page with some other information that may be useful to you.
