Welcome!

I have used a 35mm SLR camera for years, but never really got serious with it. I recently moved into the digital age with a point and shoot and digital SLR cameras. They allow me to experiment without having the expense of developing film. I still use the digital point and shoot camera as well as the digital SLR, each one has advantages in certain areas. Everyone has different preferences in equipment, so use what you like and feel comfortable in using. The main factor in good photographs is in knowing how to use YOUR equipment.
